Málaga Airport is located about 8 km from Málaga city centre, just off the national road N-340, which runs along the western the Costa del Sol. This national road is linked further ahead to the highway A-7 and the toll highway AP-7 in direction to Marbella and Estepona.
Leaving the airport and approaching the N-340, the right hand lane is for Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Marbella, Estepona, Sotogrande, Gibraltar, Cadiz, and all other points on the western Costa del Sol. The left hand lane is for Malaga city, Nerja and the eastern Costa del Sol, Granada and Motril.
Malaga airport, due to its expansion and new infrastructures, access roads and public transport, has become one of the most modern airports in Europe.
Travelers will find a large selection of shops, cafes and restaurants in the new Terminal 3 at Malaga airport. The suburban train station and bus stops are situated directly next to the terminal, as well as taxis. You can as well book a private taxi at Malaga airport or car hire through autopro.es
