Ibiza is an island completely surrounded by
sea. This has an upside and a downside particularly when it comes
to getting around, if you happen to be a 'global village traveller'.
They've invented aeroplanes now and built an airport, but that's
not much use in the winter, because the planes only go to mainland
Spain. So for much of the time transport depends on boats, which
are therefore very much part of island life.
Anyone who has had the pleasure of exploring the Balearics by boat
will confirm that this really is the best way to travel around the
Mediterranean.
Much as anywhere else in the world - Ibiza is constantly changing.
Our aim with this website is to keep you abreast of the changes.
