MALAGA THING TO DO - THEME PARKS - WATER PARKS

WATER PARKS

Youngsters, senior, citizens, children… there’s something for all of them at the Costa del Sol’s premier amusement park: Tivoli World.

On the Costa del Sol, there is always fun to be had in the water. And not just the salt variety either. There are a number of water parks to be found throughout the Málaga coast, strategically located so that the visitor is never far from at least one: Aguavelis in the east, Parque Acuatico de Mijas in the west and Aqualand, close to the city of Málaga itself.

All are equipped with all the facilities necessary to guarantee a fabulous day in the water- for the whole family, naturally, as there are attractions to suit all ages and tastes. The little ones won’t to leave the swimming pools, which are crammed with fun features designed specially for them, al clearly classified in term of age suitability. They can also have a whale of a time with a series of complementary facilities that are immensely popular in all of the parks. The best-known of these is the waterfall which is descended with the aid of an enormous float. This is one attraction that the children will come back to again and again. The same is true of the slippery slides, which they will hurtle down again and again in spite of the short watt between turns.

And if all of this plunging into water makes you tired, why not relax in the wave of bubble pools, or simply enjoy a lie down under sunshade in one of the multitude of immaculately maintained grassy areas that adorn the parks, all suitably equipped for maximum comfort and convenience. Don’t forget to try the mini-golf courses though – just don a cap to protect yourself from the sun and away you go!
However, the more daring visitors won’t want to leave without hurling themselves into the void on the “Kamikaze”. This unfeasibly-high water slides will make even the bravest of bathers shudder. In fact, Aqualand in Málaga is home to the highest Kamikaze in Spain.

There simply aren’t enough hours in the day to enjoy each and evry one of the many attractions on offer to the full. So, make yourself at home, like a fish in water!
