LA
CALA DEL MORAL
Location: It lies
in the nucleus of the La Cala del Moral a part of Rincon
de la Victoria. It is very well connected to Málaga
city centre and the region of Axarquia. Is well signposted
from both directions. By bus from Málaga you get off
at Muelle de Heredia, El Limonar and El Palo.
Services: Showers, footbath, parking,
watersports rentals, drinking fountains, playgrounds
disabled ramp access and chiringuitos.
Description: This beach is in good
state, it has a regular cleaning team, and the paseo
maritimo invites anyone to walk its length. Is has earned
its blue flag from the E.U. for the second consecutive
year. This is mainly due to cleanliness of its waters,
which is under constant inspection and will undergo
further refinement in the autumn.
RINCON DE LA VICTORIA
Location: from Málaga,
direction Vélez-Málaga, by the road there are
two entrances to Rincon de la Victoria, all well signposted.
By bus from Málaga you stop at EL Limonar and El Palo.
Same as from Velez Málaga.
Services: 13 showers, Security towers,
hotel accesses, lifeguards, lifebuoys, maritime rescue,
ramp access, playgrounds, parking, landscaped islands.
Description: This beach is always found
in a clean state, It flies it blue flag proudly. It
scored the highest points in the survey from the Department
Of Health. It has a wide paseo maritimo and several
chiringuitos, which offer all the delicacies of the
region and Live music at times. Also restaurants and
cafes are situated very near, A great day out for all
the family.
TORRE DE BANAGALBON
Location: On the N340
to Rincon de la Victoria, continue to the Torre De Banagalbon,
on the road to Almeria.
Services: It has only a few services,
bins, sunbeds, and a cleaning service. It lacks showers
security etc yet it does have a chiringuito.
Description: An almost wild unspoilt
spot, it is on of the least populated of the beaches
in the region. With its open spaces it attracts mainly
the beach footballers and volleyballers. It is a perfect
spot to enjoy a tranquil day in a chiringuito or on
the sands, especially if you are of the energetic type..
LOS RUBIOS
Location: Beach situated
in the neighbourhood of Los Judios. Along with the beach
of Rincon de la Victoria and Torre de Benagalbon they
cover all the seaboard of the area.
Services: Bins, sunbeds, parasols,
cleaning services, chiringuitos, newsstands.
Description: It is more than a kilometre
in length; it has dark sands and a moderate swell. It
is very peaceful and there is little urbanisation in
the area to date. It has, maintained some vegetation
on its edges, which offers it a special touch.
