THE CARIHUELA

Location: on the N-340, take the exit to the centre of Torremolinos, follow Calle Hoyos, Avenida Palma Mallorca, and Calle Carmen Montes.
Services: Showers, first aid, sunbeds, security. numerous chiringuitos and bars.
Description: One of the more famous in Torremolinos, It lies in the old fishing neighbourhood that gives it its name. It has warm waters, fine sands but is famed for its multitude of services on or near the beach, including stores, bars, and restaurants etc, where the beach goers enjoy all the typical world famous Mediterranean cuisine.

THE BAJONDILLO


Location: Between the beaches Los Alamos and Carihuela, it can be reached from the centre of Torremolinos from Plaza Costa del Sol via Calle Palma de mallorca, Calle Casablanca y las Mercedes to Plaza`de las Comunidades Autonomas
Services: Showers, parking, watersports help services, security towers, chiringuitos hotels.
Description: Prize-winner in its day, and a typical Mediterranean beach, it is the most central in Torremolinos and extends from Playa mar to Puerto Blanco. It has a castle called Castillo de Santa Clara, and many restaurants and gardens nearby.

MONTEMAR

Location: In Torremolinos, via N-340, descending for Montemar until you arrive at Plaza`del Remo.
Services: Tidy, showers, water bikes help services security towers, canoe rentals and chiringuitos.
Description: In Western Torremolinos in front of Hotel Aloho Puerto, we find this small tranquil beach. The walls of the Puerto Deportivo shade it from the winds and keep the waters calm, this attracts many sea canoeists. A perfect spot for those who seek peaceful soft sands and clean warm waters.

THE SALTILLO

Location: From Málaga, Via the N340, take the bypass to Hotel Pez Espada. It can also be reached via the Hotel los Palomas.
Services: Parking, sunbeds and parasols for rent, showers, disabled access, bins, playgrounds, lifesaving services first aid, volleyball nets.
Description: It lies smack bang in the tourist centre of Torremolinos, It is popular with the surfers due to the moderate breezes and swells. It has many hotels restaurants, bars etc very nearby. As well as the Puerto Deportivo. People can enjoy the special cuisines, sea, sun, sand or even a tourist tour along the coast.

COSTA LAGO

Location: From Málaga, take the N-340 to the Cross on the Hill. Continue through this estate to the Paseo maritimo.
Services: parking, security, playgrounds, palm tree zone, phone booths, watersports rentals, newsstands, Chiringuitos, showers, binds, sunbeds parasols.
Description: A favourite amongst sports enthusiasts, volleyball, palletas, and surfing are all popular. Also a perfect beach to lay a towel down and take in the sun, it attracts young and old. José Cerdáns chiringuito is famed with the locals for it s fried fish and Mediterranean delicacies.

THE ALAMOS

Location: By the N-340 at the Los Alamos Estates.
Services: Showers, parking, water bikes, chiringuitos first aid and security.
Description: At the feet of Los Alamos the beach has fine sands, and wide open spaces. Popular with sports competitions, but it is semi urbanised and makes foe a perfect peaceful family day out. It has many chiringuitos nearby, that serve the best of food during the day and nightly the youngsters gather to celebrate the summer evenings.
