Description: Wide and slightly curved facing the southeast. It has dark sands, and has some cliff faces, ideal for scuba diving because its waters are crystal clear.
Location: From Málaga, on the N340, take the bypass to La Cala de Mijas. Take the street called Coin, to the tower and paseo maritimo.
Services: Swings for children, rent of hammocks and parasols, showers and footbath, Chiringuitos, volleyball nets, there is a cottage where the Red Cross are based, services for the disabled, changing room’s showers etc.
Description: It flies its blue flag proud, awarded by the E.U. for its impeccable conditions; It is famous for its clean waters and peaceful atmosphere. This is primarily a fishing zone but the extensive beach attracts many tourists and Spaniards alike.
Location: From Málaga on the N340 you arrive to Mijas Costa, take the bypass to El Faro (lighthouse). Park near the restaurant El Faro, it has its own exit to the highway.
Services: This preserved beach has limited services; it has security, sunbeds, showers and a chiringuitos which serves all the traditional delicacies.
Description: The El Faro beach is wild and due to its poor access not very busy. It is perfect for the escapist, Fine sands and rocky coves attract the odd fisherman and snorkler.
