Situated between Mijas and Marbella, the surrounding countryside is , like that of most of the courses in the area, quite spectacular with views of both the sea and the mountains. Many species of birds nest around its lakes, thus enhancing the natural beauty of the course. Designed by Falco Nardi, the course was opened to the public in 1990. It is very pleasant and full of interesting challenges for all golfers, whatever their handicap may be. There are various water hazards so concentration is very important as any mistake, however small, could lead to the loss of the ball. The 570-metre par-five 12th is the most difficult hole of all. The lake in the middle of the fairways makes for a tricky second shot. The 520-metre par-five 6th and the 480-metre par-five 14th are also worth a mention.

HOW TO GET THERE: Going towards Málaga, turn off the highway about 15 kilometres east of Marbella at the Riviera signs and the course is about 2 kilometres from the highway.
