TIME: 8 hours.
Leaving the Quejigales country house, walk along a track for about 500m and then leave it in order to make our way through a valley wooked with pine trees.
Then, climb up the Cañada del Cuerno crossing a beautiful forest of fir trees and gaining height along a twisting track. A bit farther, the Pilones mountain pass can be found, wich is the starting point for interesting routes through The Sierra de las Nieves.
From Pilones sierra pass a track leads to a television relay, wich we shall leave on the left in order to start to descend among gall oaks, not very frequent at this height.
From here, the Pico del Torrecilla can be seen. Its 1.917m will be a point of reference in order to arrive at the foot.
