A large boat is not, however, a requirement for those whishing to enjoy the plethora of activities on offer along Málaga’s Mediterranean Coast. A humble board and a few accessories will suffice for us to take advantage of prevailing wind. The kite is a good option and the medium of choice for lovers of kitesurfing, a new sport that has already attracted a large following in the province.

But let us take a moment break from such excitement and enjoy the delights of canoeing, a sport which provides a quieter , more relaxing from of physical activity; be it out at sea op upstream with the aid of a paddle, the horizon is our only limit. An excellent setting in which to enjoy this particular pursuit in the Sierra de Grazalema, and in particular Travesia de la Isla, which is also an ideal venue for children.
